Smokey Nagata's 1995 Top Secret GT-300 Toyota Supra
Smokey Nagata's Top Secret GT-300 Supra is one of the most iconic and legendary tuner cars to ever come out of Japan. Built by Kazuhiko "Smokey" Nagata, the founder of the tuning company Top Secret, this car was designed to break boundaries in both engineering and top speed performance.

Why the 3S-GTE Engine?
Interestingly, instead of using the Supra’s famous 2JZ-GTE inline-six engine, Smokey chose the 3S-GTE 4-cylinder engine. This was done to:
Reduce front-end weight
Improve weight balance for better handling
Push the limits of what a smaller engine could do with the right engineering
The 3S-GTE was heavily modified and stroked to 2.2 liters by Garage Fukui, showing off Japan’s incredible engine-building talent.
Racing & Legacy
The GT-300 Supra was built to challenge the Option Magazine Top Speed Trials and other high-speed events. It famously attempted to reach 300 km/h (186 mph) in New Zealand in 1999, and although it achieved about 290 km/h, it still impressed the world with its capability and engineering.
This car wasn't just a showpiece—it was designed to be driven hard.
